How it works
You choose an amount and press Stake. Your wallet opens and shows the exact transaction: ETH to Lido's stETH contract.
You approve it in your wallet. You pay a small Ethereum network fee. Nothing moves until you approve.
stETH arrives in your wallet, about 1 stETH for each ETH. Your stETH balance grows a little every day as rewards are paid.

1What is cryptocurrency?
Cryptocurrency is digital money recorded on a blockchain: a shared ledger copied across thousands of computers, so no single bank keeps the books. Bitcoin was the first. Ethereum added programs ("smart contracts") that run on the network. Prices are set by supply and demand and can swing a lot in a single day.
2Wallets, keys and seed phrases
A wallet holds the keys that control your coins. Your public address is like an account number: safe to share. Your private key or seed phrase (12–24 words) is like the master password: anyone who has it can take everything. Never type it into a website, never share it, and keep a written copy somewhere safe.
3How staking works
Some blockchains, like Ethereum and Solana, are secured by people who lock up coins ("stake") to help validate transactions. In return the network pays rewards in the same coin. Running a validator needs 32 ETH, so most people use a staking protocol like Lido, which pools ETH and gives you a token (stETH) that grows with the rewards. Rewards vary, unstaking can take days, and validator mistakes can cost part of the stake ("slashing").
4How crypto lending works
Lending means letting a platform or borrower use your coins in exchange for interest. The interest comes from borrowers, so it depends on demand and on the borrowers paying back. If the platform fails, you can lose your coins: several large crypto lenders went bankrupt in 2022 and customers waited years to recover part of their money.
5The risks to weigh
Prices can fall fast and far. Crypto isn't covered by FDIC or SIPC protection. Lock-up periods can stop you selling when you want to. Smart contracts can have bugs. Rewards are usually paid in the same coin, so a 5% reward doesn't help much if the coin drops 30%. And gains are generally taxable.
6Spotting crypto scams
Walk away from anything that guarantees high returns, pressures you to act fast, asks you to "connect your wallet to claim" a reward, asks for your seed phrase, or wants you to approve a transaction you don't understand. Real support teams never ask for your keys. In the US you can report fraud at reportfraud.ftc.gov.

Good to know
When am I charged?
Never during your free trial, and never automatically after it: the trial needs no card. You're only charged once you choose to subscribe, and then every month or every 3 months until you cancel. Subscribing during your trial keeps your remaining free days. Stripe emails you a receipt every time.
How do I cancel?
On the Coach page, press Cancel plan. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for and won't be charged again. A free trial with no subscription simply ends; there's nothing to cancel.
Is the $10,000 real money?
No. It's practice money for learning on Compound Crest. It has no cash value and can't be withdrawn. Practice money you buy works the same way.
Are the coaches real people?
No. They're AI voice coaches with their own personalities. They can make mistakes, they only coach on your practice account, and they aren't licensed financial advisors.

Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Ck2D LLC ("Compound Crest", "we", "us"), which operates compoundcrest.us. By creating an account or using the site you agree to them.
1. What Compound Crest is
Compound Crest is an education service. It offers lessons, a practice trading account that uses simulated money, and AI voice coaches. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, bank or tax adviser, and nothing on the site is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security or crypto asset with real money.
2. Practice money
Balances in your practice account, including practice money you buy, are simulated. They have no cash value, can't be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for anything, and exist only to help you learn. Prices shown may be delayed or simulated, and practice results don't predict real results.
3. AI coaches
Coaches are AI systems, not people and not licensed professionals. They can make mistakes. They coach on your practice account and teach general concepts; don't rely on them for decisions about real money. Voice conversations are processed by our provider ElevenLabs as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Accounts
You must be at least 18 and give accurate information. Keep your password safe; you're responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, abuse the service or try to interfere with it.
5. Plans, trials and billing
AI Coach plans cost $19.99 a month or $49.99 every 3 months (plus any applicable tax) and renew automatically until you cancel. New members who verify their email address and mobile number get one 7-day free trial, with no payment card required; when it ends, coaching pauses and nothing is charged. One free trial is available per person and per phone number. If you subscribe, your plan renews automatically until you cancel; subscribing during your trial keeps your remaining free days. You can cancel anytime from the Coach page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Practice money packs ($9.99 for $5,000 of practice money) are one-time purchases. Payments are processed by Stripe. See Refunds & cancellation for refunds.
6. Crypto features
Connecting a wallet shares only its public address. Staking on the Crypto page happens in your own wallet through Lido, a third-party protocol we don't control or endorse; transactions you approve are irreversible and carry risk of loss. The launch bonus is governed by the terms shown on the Crypto page.
7. Text messages
If you give us your mobile number, you agree to receive one-time verification codes from Compound Crest by text message or WhatsApp. We don't send marketing texts. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7a. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no scraping, reverse engineering, attempts to bypass payment or access controls, or abusive language toward the coaches. Don't use the service for anything unlawful.
8. Content and ownership
The site, lessons, audio and software belong to us or our licensors. Company and crypto names and logos belong to their owners and are shown only to identify the assets; they don't imply any endorsement.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any losses from investment or trading decisions you make, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Ck2D LLC ("Compound Crest") collects when you use compoundcrest.us, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Account details: your name, date of birth, email, mobile number and a securely hashed password, plus any profile details you choose to add. We verify your email and phone with one-time codes sent through our provider Bird.
Practice activity: your practice trades, balances, lessons and settings.
Voice coaching: audio and transcripts of conversations with the voice guide and coaches, and short recaps of coaching sessions.
Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive your plan, payment status and receipt details, never your full card number.
Wallets: if you connect or paste a wallet address, we look up its public balance. We don't ask for or store private keys or seed phrases.
Technical data: basic logs (such as IP address, browser and pages requested) for security and reliability.
How we use it
To run your account and practice desk, provide coaching (including giving your coach a summary of your practice portfolio, recent trades and earlier sessions), process payments, improve answers (our team reviews common questions people ask the assistants), keep the service secure, and meet legal obligations. We don't sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
Service providers
We share data only with providers that help us run the service: Cloudflare (hosting and database), ElevenLabs (voice AI), Stripe (payments), Bird (verification codes by email, text or WhatsApp), and public market and blockchain data services for prices and balances. They may only use it to provide their services to us.
Text messages
We text your mobile number only to send one-time verification codes you request, never marketing. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help, or email hello@compoundcrest.us. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Cookies and storage
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser's storage for preferences such as theme and your chosen coach. We don't use advertising cookies.
Retention and your choices
We keep your data while your account is open and delete it within 30 days after you ask us to close your account, except where we must keep records (for example, payment records) by law. You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data by emailing hello@compoundcrest.us. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU), you may have additional rights, and we'll honor them.
Security and children
We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords and access controls. Compound Crest isn't for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Refunds & cancellation
Cancel anytime, no conditions
Go to the AI Coach page and press Cancel plan. That's it. You keep access until the end of your free trial or the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again. You can also use Card & invoices on the same page to manage billing through Stripe.
Free trial
The 7-day free trial needs no card, so it never turns into a charge on its own. You only pay if you choose to subscribe.
Forgot to cancel?
If you're charged for a renewal you didn't mean to keep, email hello@compoundcrest.us within 7 days of the charge. We'll refund that charge in full if your practice account is still worth more than $10,000 when you ask (its total value: practice cash plus holdings). Either way, you can cancel right away so you aren't charged again.
Practice money packs
Practice money is credited instantly, so packs are generally non-refundable. If you bought one by mistake and haven't used that practice money, email us within 7 days and we'll sort it out.

Nothing here limits refund rights you have under the law where you live.
